We have great pleasure to inform you that the 18th RAMESH PADUKONE – MEHUL SIRUR MEMORIAL INTER – SCHOOL BADMINTON TOURNAMENT, will be conducted at the “Prakash Courts”, Canara Union, 42, Canara Union Road (8th Main), Malleswaram, Bangalore-560 003 from 20th November to 26th November 2023

The Rules applicable to this Tournament are as follows:

The Tournament is open to students up to X Standard studying in schools recognized by the concerned authorities (SSLC, CBSE, ICSE etc.)
AGE GROUP OF ENTRIES
- TEAM EVENTS FOR BOYS & GIRLS: Each tie consists of TWO SINGLES & ONE DOUBLES (Order of Matches are: First Singles – Doubles – Second Singles). Each team consists of a MAXIMUM OF 4 PLAYERS. INDIVIDUAL EVENTS: Singles and Doubles for Boys & Girls in each of the following four age groups :
  
  Below 10 years (Mini)
  Below 12 years (Sub-Junior)
  Below 14 years (Juniors)
  Below 16 years (Seniors)
  Born on or after 01-01-2014
  Born on or after 01-01-2012
  Born on or after 01-01-2010
  Born on or after 01-01-2008
INDIVIDUAL EVENTS: Individuals can participate in not more than 3 events, Out of the 3 events, individuals have to participate at least in one event compulsorily in the age group they belong to and the remaining two can be in the higher age group or combination of their age group and the higher age group. A higher age group means the age group immediately succeeding the age group the individual belongs to.
INDIVIDUAL EVENTS: Singles & Doubles: Schools can send any number of entries in Singles and Doubles.
- ENTRY FEES:
- Team Events: Rs. 1500 per team
- Individual Events :
- Singles : Rs. 700-00
  Doubles (per pair) : Rs. 1000-00
DRESS CODE : White or Coloured T. Shirt & Shorts/ Skirt, Badminton Shoes (Non Marking)
Participating Schools may send their entries together with the entry fee to reach General Manager, Padukone Sports Management Pvt Ltd, Survey No 336, Bettahalasuru, Jala Hobli, Yelahanka Taluk Bengaluru 562157 at the above address ON OR Before 5.00 p.m. on Friday, the 10th November 2023.
The Entries Will Be Accepted Only if Accompanied With the Entry Fee by Way of Online Registration in Cash or by Cheque / Demand Draft Drawn in Favour of “Padukone Sports Management Pvt Ltd” And Couriered to General Manager, Padukone Sports Management Pvt Ltd, Survey no 336, Bettahalasuru, Jala Hobli, Yelahanka Taluk, Bengaluru – 562157.
No entry will be accepted without the certification of the date of birth by the school or Proper ID Proof of the Child attached in the Online form duly attested by the authorized signatory of the respective school.

NOTE

The Date of Birth of the Players as per School Records May Please Be Indicated Against the Names.
If the School Has Branches the Players Are Not Allowed to Combine and Play For One Branch.

Team event both Championship cup and Challenger Cup winners and runners will be given Trophies and certificates
